Klarna Service Center is a global organization, and a central part of Klarna. The center consists of approximately 600 employees with a mix of in-house and outsourced operations. Their primary goal is to deliver excellent service to Klarna’s customers, both our end-consumers and the e-stores using our payment services.
The automation team is a team of developers within Klarna’s Operations Service Center. Their job is to deliver high quality automated solutions for Service Center processes to enable operational efficiency, scalability and risk mitigation. Further they are responsible ensuring and maintaining a stable and flexible development environment.
As Team leader and Automation developer you will partly be the team leader for the automation team which involves leading the daily operations for 2-4 developers. You are responsible for the team’s effort to proactively identify and act on automation opportunities. Further you manage the prioritization and assignment of tasks as well as the quality assurance of the solutions. In the role as automation developer you will define and develop automated solutions for the business processes. With your strong business understanding and technical experience you will translate business requirements into technical solutions. Developing new as well as maintaining and improving existing automations is part of your daily work which you deliver with great quality.
Minimum of a Bachelor degree in relevant field (e.g Business, Information systems science, Computer science, Network system admin or similar)
Minimum of 3 years work experience in development e.g. PHP, Ruby, Python
Advanced knowledge of SQL, preferably PostgreSQL
Experience of quality assurance
Excellent English oral and written presentation skills
Familiar with version control e.g. Git
Project management skills
Experience of Linux and using Rest API’s
